I know that I said last week that Tuesdays were going to be known as 2 mile Tuesdays but….I broke out the 1/2 marathon novice training schedule and the two miles has been increased. EEK! Do you ever feel overwhelmed by what lays ahead of you? I keep reminding myself that I CAN DO IT. If I continue training and building up my endurance it is something that I will be able to do. I just have to keep at it.
Keep at it I did tonight. I hit the track at the gym for a 3 mile run in 33 minutes flat. That means those were on average an 11 minute mile. I know that the last mile was a lot quicker than the others, but overall I am very happy! I am revving up for the long 5 mile run on Friday!
Now on to some food….
I needed that banana to make breakfast for dinner!
I had the pancake smothered in Naturally More PB along with some Oikos yogurt and pumpkin. I have to say that I really enjoy the Oikos Greek yogurt! I knew I needed some protein after working out and this was a great way to get it. Oh yeah, I added a generous amount of cinnamon to the mix!
This makes so much sense to me! Check out Whole Foods new policy on getting more of a discount based on your health! Where would you rank? I have to say that when I was 145 lb heavier I would have not thought this to be a good idea, but now I think that it is a fantastic one! You are your best advocate when it comes to health care. You make a choice every time you decide to eat! Have I ever told you that I secretly want to just work at Whole Foods? Maybe just so I can eat there everyday!
