Today was a downer of a day, we had a funeral to attend. The hardest part of the whole thing was seeing my dad so upset. I know that death is part of life and that it is really a celebration, it just doesn’t make the whole thing any easier.
Tonight I made Indian food. A few weeks back I made this same recipe with shrimp. Tonight we had it with chicken and a few less scoops of the hot curry powder. That made Kevin a lot happier:)
It was really good and I must say that the recipes that come in the Penzy’s spice catalog are really great! We had some veggies on the side and as a special treat I bought some wheat naan at Target. The bread was so good! I can’t wait to have this for dinner again tomorrow!
I also worked out today. I went for my first class at the new gym, Dance! Dance! We got there like 20 minutes before the class started and what is a girl to do instead of mill around waiting for class? You guessed it, I ran a mile around the indoor track and then went to the dance class. The theme tonight was kind of like a Latin hip hop. It was a lot of fun! That was possibly the best medicine that I could have had after work last night and today. I think this running thing has become addictive! I think my favorite part of the whole thing is how it just quiets my mind. I need more of that as my mind always seems like it is clicked on.
